Explore the deeper meaning of life beyond everyday struggles and discover God’s purpose for you.
Is there more to life than just surviving? Many of us find ourselves asking this question as we go through the motions of work, taking care of our families, and seeking satisfaction in counterfeit fulfillment. A bigger house, a better vacation, an exciting adventure - none of these things last and will continually leave us coming up short.
You don't have to just get by—Jesus promises something more. In John 10:10, He says, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." This abundant, joyful life is found in a relationship with Jesus alone, where we discover our true identity and purpose. Through Him, we can experience meaning and fulfillment by belonging to a community of believers and becoming more like Jesus, together.
Belonging
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart." This longing for something more points us to God, who created us for a purpose. Part of that purpose is to belong to His family in a loving relationship with God as our Father. When you choose to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and you accept by faith that His finished work on the cross is the gift of salvation, you can experience belonging as you join the family of God. Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you want to learn more about what it means to be saved, we invite you to reach out here.
Becoming
As members of the family of God, every believer has a role to play and calling to live. We do this first by seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). When we put God first, we begin to see our lives from His perspective as we become more like Him. Our daily activities take on new meaning as we serve others, grow in our faith, and live out God's love. As we do, the world around us is transformed for the better and others begin to notice the difference Jesus makes in our lives.
